Our Programs

  • Southside STEM Station's school-time programming offers local middle schools and high schools a choice of 6 different STEAM pathways. Our in-house built curriculum is rooted in Design Thinking through a Project Based Learning (PBL) approach and aligns to NGSS, CCSS, CSTA and ISTA state standards.

This is a hands-on, cross-curricular approach to learning through a real-world context that promotes higher cognitive skills such as problem solving and critical thinking as well as soft skills such as collaboration, creativity and communication.

This programming is free to schools, but schools must commit to the full length of the program (5-10 sessions) dependent on the pathway chosen.

Our 6 STEAM Pathways offered are:

    • Forensics

    • Microelectronics and Coding

    • Assistive Design with 3d Printing

    • E-Textiles and Circuits

    • Data Science in Sports

    • STEAM
